Hall of Fame Ballots will be sent out to all paid members of BBOA after the National membership meeting at National Bluetick Days within 30 days by the Hall of Fame election Committee.
Each member has the right to nominate one male and one female who have been deceased for one year.
All nominations must be sent to your appointed Zone representative prior to National Bluetick Days. You must be a paid member in good standings to nominate dogs for the BBOA Hall Of Fame.
Each Zone Hall of Fame appointee will be responsible for delivering your Zones nominations to the Board of Directors meeting held at National Bluetick Days. In case of a tie the committee representative will vote to break the tie.
Zone committee representatives will be responsible to present to the President of BBOA their nominations at Bluetick Days. Failure to provide any nominations will result in No nominations being placed on the ballot to represent that particular zone. (No exceptions) All dogs nominated will be placed on the official ballot.
The Board of Directors present at Autumn Oaks will count ballots. Members are encouraged to come and watch the proceedings. Deadline for return of ballots will be placed on the official ballot and a pre-addressed envelope will accompany said ballot for its return.
It is each members right to nominate and each Zones responsibility to ensure dogs from their zone are placed on the BBOA Bluetick Hall of Fame Ballot.
