Hall of Fame ballots will be sent out to all paid up members of BBOA after the National membership meeting at National Bluetick Days by the National Secretary. Each member has the right to nominate for dogs who have been deceased for a least one year, (one must be of the opposite sex). All nominations must be sent to your Zone chairman or Zone Board of Director prior to National Bluetick Days, May 1st if not sooner. You must be a member in good standing to nominate dogs for the BBOA Hall of Fame. Each Zone’s Board of Directors will be responsible to determine your zone’s top Four dogs, by votes from within your zone. It will be the total responsibility of the Zone Board of Directors to present your nominations to the President and Hall of Fame Chairman at the National Bluetick Days, prior to the National meeting. Failure to provide any names for the Hall of Fame will result in no nominations from that Zone being placed onto the ballot. (No exceptions) The final dogs will be placed onto our National ballot and the top four vote recipients (must be one of opposite sex) will be inducted into the BBOA Hall of Fame.*Ballots will be counted by Executive Committee and Board of Directors at Autumn Oaks. Members are encourage to come and watch the proceedings. Ballots will be mailed out by June 15th and must be returned to National Sec/Treasurer no later than August 1st. (No exceptions) Each Zone is responsible to ensure that the dogs from their Zone are placed onto the National Ballot.
